I have been Con(verse)-ed...

As hard as I am trying not to shop but you know... sometimes...things just happen when you spot a practical pair of shoes at a good price...

Finally got myself a pair of classic leather converse!!! Yay, yay, yay! I think my feet are thanking me right about now...hee hee...

Now I have to wait for the weather to get cooler before I can start wearing covered shoes again! I don't know how people can wear jeans + sneakers @ 34°C!!! Have a great week ahead and keep cool! xxx

You wouldn't have guessed...

I have always been trying to be a keen supporter of Made in Malaysia products but at times there aren't just any good products out there to buy!

So when shoPHEIholic showed me Vincci+'s (the higher-end and supposedly better quality version of Vincci) latest collection, this particular pair of shoes caught my eye. It finally hit the stores recently and I was mesmerised! 

2 days old in the store and 20% off for Mother's Day - can you beat that? LOVE IT!

Gonna rock them out this Wednesday at the wearelapsap.com launch! Happy Monday y'all! No Monday blues for me yay! xoxox

Happy, Happy Week(end)!

First slumber party in years over the weekend with a failed (attempt) movie marathon. Well, we ended up talking till 3am instead and when we finally decided to watch "Confessions of a Shopaholic" we felt sleepy after only 15mins! Yeah, shoPHEIholic and I probably feel more excited about shopping itself than the movie! LOL

You like my new nails from the OPI Hong Kong collection? I want to find shoes and bags in the same colour and shade! So pretty...

Also got new rings from Forever21! The Black & white birds were only RM10 each. Owl was slightly more ex @ RM29...Love them!

Prelude to My 28 Birthday on the 28th! It's gonna be DYNO!

It's happening this Saturdayyyyy!

The theme of the party is two of my favourite things - the 80's (the era I born) and the colour blue ;)

In preparation, I got my nails coloured blue - I wanted a more striking cobalt blue but they didn't have it...love this turquoise one as well, added the glitter for a touch of disco ;)

Can't wait to rock out my blue suede shoes tooo! Love the 80s detailing...

These are times when I love being a girl! It is the shizzzzznit (did you know it was coined in the 80s?) xoxox

My pretty, pretty, pretty necklaces from Teresa of firstfan has arrived in time for my partyyyy! They are so gorgeous (and even better, handmade!), can't wait to wear them! No prizes for guessing which one I'm wearing for my 28th! ;)

Okay, so who actually buys 2 sunnies in 1 month? *meekly raises hand up*

Sooooo...I went to Reliance to get my Wayfarers cleaned (well 'cos I was in the area, honest!) and there it was, sitting prettily on counter...a limited edition (made for the Japan market) Ray Ban Aviators in chocolate brown calling out to me, "try me, try me, try me...." *sucker* 

I always wanted a pair of Aviators but was never too keen on the gold/silver metal frames...that was why I was attracted to these understated frames...

Well, now I realise the value in spending slightly more for the comfort and quality of proper sunglasses (compared to the fashion/trendy ones that are a fraction of a proper one) 

 Invest in a good pair of sunnies! You won't regret it xoxo

I have been Wayfarer-ed!

I've been itching to get a pair of Ray Bans for awhile now and I finally  made my way to Reliance in Bangsar to see if there was anything new for me this season...I've always been wanting the classic wayfarers or aviators...

After about 30mins of trying various sunnies, I finally made my decision to go with Ray Ban's Special Series Rare Prints Wayfarer which has an awesome limited edition (subway map) print/pattern on the inner part of the sunnies. It even came with a special edition red case *love, love, love*

Wore it as soon as we stepped out of the store and what can I say...I am 110% pleased with my purchase!

My shopaholic sistas were also shopping for sunnies - weighing between Ray Bans and Karen Walkers (gonna get me a pair of Karen Walker sunnies with my first pay cheque in NZ *fingers crossed*)

Can you guess who got what? xoxo

Huffing & Puffing...

I know, I know, it's been weeks since I made my last blog post as I have been so busy since the start of 2010! Well, as people say, the first few weeks of the year usually dictates how the rest of the year goes, so here's hoping I won't get bored in 2010! *winks*  Here's wishing you a great 2010 as well! ;)

As it is the end of the season, many stores are clearing out their A/W collections. With my upcoming move to New Zealand (in May - read: winter!), I went slightly crazy during Promod's sale and acquired a few (well....maybe slightly more than a few) jackets and cardigans...I couldn't help it, they were all so lovely and they were all size 6(UK)!!! How could I resist?

(I've always wanted, and finally) Got myself a puff jacket - love the quilted detailing on the side and back, can't wait to wear it this winter in New Zealand! (Winter is not my fave season as I am a true blue tropical girl..so I do need some lovely jackets to keep me happy and warm *winks*)

I was happy to find one of my fave online reads featured the puff jacket which inspired me in many ways to rock out my jacket this May *yay* Now, I don't mind a navy blue one like Whitney Port's...hmmm....
