My Manuka honey fix in a carlsberg mug...looks like beer, no? LOL tastes better than beer though and a great friday morn drink! I'm drinking it religiously for my poor infected throat *cough, cough* wheeeeeeeee!

Huffing & Puffing...

I know, I know, it's been weeks since I made my last blog post as I have been so busy since the start of 2010! Well, as people say, the first few weeks of the year usually dictates how the rest of the year goes, so here's hoping I won't get bored in 2010! *winks*  Here's wishing you a great 2010 as well! ;)

As it is the end of the season, many stores are clearing out their A/W collections. With my upcoming move to New Zealand (in May - read: winter!), I went slightly crazy during Promod's sale and acquired a few (well....maybe slightly more than a few) jackets and cardigans...I couldn't help it, they were all so lovely and they were all size 6(UK)!!! How could I resist?

(I've always wanted, and finally) Got myself a puff jacket - love the quilted detailing on the side and back, can't wait to wear it this winter in New Zealand! (Winter is not my fave season as I am a true blue tropical girl..so I do need some lovely jackets to keep me happy and warm *winks*)

I was happy to find one of my fave online reads featured the puff jacket which inspired me in many ways to rock out my jacket this May *yay* Now, I don't mind a navy blue one like Whitney Port's...hmmm....

The Joy of Giving...

I did something selfless. I donated blood *yay!* It felt good to give. And who knows maybe someday, I might need it too *touch wood*

You should too, if you can. Visit your local hospital/blood bank and see if you can donate 300cc/450cc of V (ala True Blood).

If you were wondering, NO, I didn't faint. I was actually pretty excited over the whole experience - I felt like I had an adrenaline rush after. You also get Ribena/coffee/tea, a muffin and an apple after all that...yes, I love freebies, don't you? xoxo
